
Netflix Orders Psychological Thriller 'Gypsy' for 2017
Netflix has ordered a 10-episode season of the psychological thriller Gypsy, from Universal Television, Working Title, and writer Lisa Rubin.
The series follows the journey of Jean Holloway - a therapist who begins to develop dangerous and intimate relationships with the people in her patients' lives. Liza Chasin and Rubin will act as executive producers on top of Rubin's writing.
Rubin also has I was Here upcoming, which is an adaptation of the best-selling novel by Gayle Forman, for New Line, as well as the novel Food Whore for DreamWorks.
Gypsy will premiere in 2017.
