Nick Frost Joins 'Into the Badlands' as Series Regular for Season 2
AMC's martial arts drama is looking to cast for its follow-up season, which will arrive a little later than usual in 2017, well over a year since season 1 ended.
Nick Frost has joined the series, which is loosely based on the Chinese tale Journey to the West. It takes place in a world controlled by Barons in a somewhat post-apocalyptic wasteland. It follows Sunny (Daniel Wu) and M.K. (Aramis Knight) as they trek across the dangerous land in search of enlightenment.
Frost plays Bajie, a morally questionable man always looking for a quick score. He is an unlikely new ally for Sunny.
