Original 'Ghost in the Shell' Anime Movie Getting Blu-Ray Steelbook Release
Ahead of Scarlett Johansson's upcoming live-action rendition of the classic manga Ghost in the Shell by Masamune Shirow, Lionsgate will be releasing a steelbook Blu-ray edition of the original anime film on March 14.
It will come adorned with some always-stellar Mondo artwork dressing the front and back. The story itself is of a female cybernetic government agent who is on the hunt along with the Internal Bureau of Investigations for "The Puppet Master," a mysterious and threatening computer virus capable of infiltrating human hosts.
