Poduction Begins on the Jason Momoa-Starring Remake of 'The Crow' in January
The Crow remake is officially happening, it seems, with the film set to hit production in January 2017.
Starring Jason Momoa as the lead character of Eric Draven, the remake has been in the works since 2008, when it had a director attached and a script, before rewrites took place in 2010. Mark Wahlberg was then in talks for the role, before a few other notable actors like Brad Cooper weaved in and out of negotiations.
Rights issues culminated a pretty disastrous development process. With Corin Hardy directing and Momoa starring, this thing finally looks like it's happening.
