'Preacher' Co-Creator Steve Dillon Dies at Age 54
Comic book artist Steve Dillon, who is most well known for his co-creation Preacher, one of a number of collaborations with writer Garth Ennis, has died at age 54, as confirmed by his brother Glyn via Twitter this morning.
Dillon was born in 1962 and made his first steps into comics in 1980 with licensed Doctor Who comics. His 75 issues on Preacher, however, will remain his mark on the comic book world, and the series has since gone on to become an AMC hit earlier this year.
Dillon died tragically young, and our best wishes go to the family and loved ones impacted by the sudden passing.
