'Preacher' Gets Season 2 Premiere Date, First Images
AMC's latest comic book adaptation, Preacher, is set to premiere its second season on June 19, 2017, on Monday night. The option to veer away from the heavy-hitters of Sunday night is probably a smart one, and the new season will consist of 13 episodes instead of season one's ten.
Season one left off with its leads Dominic Cooper (Jesse Custer), Ruth Negga (Tulip) and Joseph Gilgun (Cassidy) driving off into the sunset on a search for god, leaving behind the ruins of Annville, Texas. The images gives us a new look at the trio, plus Graham McTavish's Saint of Killers, who comic book readers will be very familiar with but who will play an elevated role in season 2.
