'Rogue One' Soars Closer to $600 Million at the Worldwide Box Office
The Christmas holiday weekend is done and dusted, and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story earned $50 million globally on Monday. The overall tally for the film now sits at $573.8 million, with more milestones sure to come as we head toward new years.
Monday, the film earned more than Friday, Saturday, or Sunday during the holiday weekend. The film is yet to debut in China, which is set for January 6, so Rogue One is sure to continue storming ahead. In the U.K., the film has earned $44.5 million, leading the pack in international ticket sales, while Germany ($23.7M), France ($21.4M), Australia ($19.8M), and Japan (17.4M) follow suite.
