Rupert Grint to Star in and Produce 'Snatch' from Sony's Streaming Network
Harry Potter alum Rupert Grint will star in and executive produce new series Snatch, for Sony's streaming network Crackle. It is based on the cult 2000 Sony film of the same name, which starred Jason Statham and Brad Pitt.
Dougray Scott (Fear the Walking Dead) also joins in a recurring role, along with Ed Westwick. Nick Renton will direct.
Snatch will carry the spirit of the setting in the film, but while creating a new world with new characters to slot in there. Snatch is inspired by a real life heist in London, and centers on a group of young, up-and-coming hustlers who are thrust into the world of high-stakes organised crime.
