Sony to Adapt Scott Snyder and Jeff Lemire's 'A.D.: After Death' Graphic Novel

HaydnSpurrell HaydnSpurrell Three issue miniseries A.D.: After Death, written by Scott Snyder and drawn by Jeff Lemire, has been picked up by Sony for adaptation to the big screen. The creators will both serve as executive producers on the project.

The first issue of the series hit shelves in November with marked success and fanfare. It is set in a dystopian future in which a genetic cure for death has been found and one many is frustrated by his neverending life.

The story was initially conceptualised as a standalone graphic novel when announced in January 2015. It is now a 72 page comic to be released in three parts, and will take place in three timelines.
