Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Daisy Ridley Opens Up About One Terrible Shoot

HaydnSpurrell HaydnSpurrell Star Wars: The Force Awakens has entered the history books with its record-breaking performance. One element fans hoped for more of is Luke Skywalker himself, who shows up in the final minute of the film with a wordless 'passing of the torch' style scene.

Daisy Ridley recently opened up about that particular scene, saying she had been particularly sick on that day. "I'll be honest with you, I was very sick one of the days we filmed. Mark [Hamill] was trying to do his serious acting, and I was like, retching in the cooler. I'm not kidding it was so awful."

That particular scene took place on the island of Skellig Michael, off the coast of Ireland, in a scene where Ridley had to climb endless stairs to reach Luke's hiding spot. Despite how taxing this had to have been, Ridley did cite that the steadicam operator had it worse, having to make the climb backwards while operating and holding a camera.
