'The Big Short' Director to Write and Helm Dick Cheney Biopic
Step Brothers and The Big Short director Adam McKay is set to take the helm of a biopic focusing on former Vice President Dick Cheney for Paramount, seeing him re-team with a number of his collaborators from last year's real estate true-story drama.
Deadline reports that the untitled project will see Brad Pitt producing along with Dede Gradner and Jeremy Kleiner from Plan B, and Will Ferrell and Kevin Messick.
McKay has been quite critical of George W. Bush and Cheney in the past, so it's an interesting move to say the least.
