'The Conjuring 2' Director Leaves the Door Open for "Many More" Sequels
The Conjuring sequel has returned via its world premiere on Tuesday night, and with it comes plenty of excitement from those involved regarding a possible third entry in the series.
Screenwriters Chad and Carey Hayes stated outright that "we definitely have a third in mind." Director James Wan was less overt in his intentions, saying that "it depends on what happens this weekend." That being said, he does say that more stories could be mined from the true stories of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.
“There could be many more movies because the Warrens have so many stories,” Wan said enthusiastically.
