'The People v O.J. Simpson' Star Courtney B. Vance joins 'The Mummy'
Courtney B. Vance has joined Universal's The Mummy, following his critically acclaimed performance in FX's anthology series The People v. O.J. Simpson.
Courtney joins Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis and Jake Johnson. The film is being directed by Alex Kurtzman and is intended to launch a monsters expanded universe for the studio.
The story takes place in the modern day, with Cruise playing a special forces officer (or former soldier). Vance is lined up to play an Army Colonel.
