Third Weekend Box Office Crown predicted for 'The Jungle Book'
Disney's live-action/heavy CG film The Jungle Book is dominating the field when it comes to the box office, wowing audiences with its new take on the classic tale of old.
It's projected for a $38 million weekend, which Variety states would make it one of the ten best third weekends of all time. The film might want to enjoy it's last weekend on the throne though, given Civil War arrives on American shores next weekend.
Friday's box office has The Huntsman: Winter's War dropping 60% over last week, while Mother's Day is expected to finish in third with a pretty limited audience and so far poor reviews and word of mouth.
