Warner Bros. Eyes Frank Miller's 'Hard Boiled' with Ben Wheatley to Direct
Warner Bros. is currently negotiating the right to Frank Miller and Geoff Darrow's comic book Hard Boiled, with Free Fire's Ben Wheatley to adapt and direct the project.
The co-production, between Solisist Films and Hollywood Gang, is about an insurance investigator who learns he's really a homicidal cyborg tax collector codenamed Nixon. A fellow robot informed him that he's the last hope for their race to escape programmed slavery.
The comic debuted back in 1990,
