Will Smith's Collateral Beauty to Open Against Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
New Line and Warner Bros. have set a date for Collateral Beauty, sharing the December 16 slot with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Starring Will Smith, Helen Mirren, Edward Norton, Michael Pena and Naomie Harris all star in the drama, following a New York ad man sent into a downward spiral after a tragic event.
The Devil Wears Prada and Marley and Me director David Frankel is at the helm of the picture, scripted by Allen Loeb. Village Roadshow Pictures is partnering with New Line.
Warners has also pulled Alcon Entertainment's Chicken Soup for the Soul from their release calendar, and the studio is indicating a 2017 release date.
