Zootopia Targets $600 Million Worldwide
Disney's latest hit is dominating the international market, taking $64 million this weekend in 50 markets, raising it to nearly $600 million worldwide.
More than half of this weekends take comes from China, where Zootopia has taking $173.4 million since debuting just over two weeks ago.
Zootopia is yet to open in the U.K., where it arrives March 25, as well as Japan which sees it open on April 23. The film opened in Australia and Brazil this past Thursday.
The animated film has taken any spotlight from The Divergent Series: Allegiant, which came third with $22 million in 78 markets.
