Zack Snyder Reveals What to Expect in R-Rated Batman v Superman Ultimate Cut
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has arrived, and yet in a short few months we'll be able to get our hands on the ultimate cut, set for a n R-rating and with additional scenes running the film up to three hours.
Zack Snyder has spoken with Collider regarding what these additional scenes might look like. "There's a little bit of action, there's a little big of violence that we trimmed out for the MPAA that we put back. The Batman warehous rescue, there's a couple shots of Doomsday that were too intense. Then there's a little bit longer ending, sort of the ending sequence, and the opening of the movie, the North Africa sequence is really much different."
We know that Jena Malone's character was entirely edited from the film, so where she factors into these teases is hard to guess. It will be interesting to find out whether any of these additions, particular the extended ending, have any bearing or hide any more clues as to the future of the DC universe.
