Kill Bill Volume 1 was a huge box office success for Tarantino who decided to make a movie about a genre he very much loves; martial arts. Its premise is very simple, but as it's a Tarantino movie, its violence is very much the focal point of the film. Breathtaking stunts and action sequences left audiences jaws open as Tarantino showcased his skill as a vibrant director with a eye for aesthetics.
