Director: Quentin Tarantino
Stars: Pam Grier, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Forster, Robert de Niro

Synopsis:
A flight attendant becomes a key figure in a plot between the police and an arms dealer.

The third movie from Tarantino was loosely an adaptation of Elmore Leonard's novel, Rum Punch. After the huge successes of Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, the spotlight was firmly on Tarantino with audiences expecting him to deliver up another gun totting thriller. Jackie Brown isn't as violent as previous Tarantino movies, but it did display the range of storytelling we are accustomed to seeing in his movies. Tarantino himself sees this movies as somewhat of a failure as it didn't bring in the box office numbers he expected, but Jackie Brown is easily the most under rated films in his catalogue. It's certainly worth revisiting.
