A Year in Film: An Introduction - 1994.
We're in December now, the year is soon drawing to a close, it only seems appropriate to do a summary of this year's cinematic releases. Although, that's a little bit overdone and 2013 certainly hasn't been a memorable year in film. I asked myself, why not chronicle a year in film that hasn't just happened? Why not celebrate films of the past, or even discover some for the first time? On that note, we at FilmOA bring you the first instalment of 'A Year In Film', an on-going feature where we chronicle a year from the past in film; from award ceremonies to top grossing hits, cult classics and late bloomers we now know and love. Let's jump right in and take a look at the awards season for 1994.
