Games of Thrones Director Will Make Action Thriller 'Nacro Sub' with Liam Neeson
Game of Thrones director Brian Kirk has signed on to direct the action-thriller Narco Sub for 20th Century Fox, with Neeson in talks to star in the lead role.
Kirk, who made his feature film debut with Middletown in 2006, is best known for his high-profile TV work, which, in addition to Game of Thrones, includes Boardwalk Empire, Luther, and Dexter.
Liam Neeson, who has yet to officially sign on to the project, is no stranger to these sort of roles with his latest action thriller, Run All Night, currently in theatres.
It's always fun to see movies such as these be made, but recent releases within this genre have been dumbed down and mind-numbingly repetitive. Neeson has recently spoken about how he plans to step away from the action movie, but this latest development proves he may have a few more left before he acts on that decision.
There is currently no release date scheduled for Nacro Sub.
