Jake Gyllenhaal Set to Star in Boston Marathon Drama 'Stronger'
Although 'Stronger' may be the third announced movie that is currently in development regarding the topic of the Boston marathon bombings, it seems to be closer to fruition.
Recently, David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express, Joe) signed on to direct the drama and now producers have found their lead in Southpaw star, Jake Gyllenhaal.
Variety reports that while several A-listers have already met about the project, Gyllenhaal has emerged as the top choice. A formal offer is expected to arrive in the not-too-distant future. Stronger is set up at Lionsgate.
