Jennifer Lawrence Will Star in Sony's 'The Rosie Project'
Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games, American Hustle) will star in Sony's romantic comedy The Rosie Project.
The movie, based on the Graeme Simsion novel, centers on a socially awkward genetics professor who devises a science-based survey to find the perfect mate — only to see those theories splintered when he meets the spontaneous Rosie Jarman, who possesses the opposite qualities.
Sony are now seeking a director for the movie. At first, the in demand LEGO Movie directors, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, were approached by Sony but they have opted to take on the Han Solo spinoff movie in the Star Wars franchise.
