Ryan Reynolds talked about the possibility of a Hugh Jackman/Wolverine cameo in the upcoming 'Deadpool' movie, saying “God I hope so, that would be really nice. I dunno, we’ll see. It seems like he’s open to it, but it’s gonna be more of a scheduling issue than anything else.” Reynolds went on to jokingly say he may retire after Deadpool as he's hit all his artistic goals.
david duchovny open to more x-files
David Duchovny is open to more 'X-Files' beyond upcoming 6 new episodes. He told Entertainment Weekly, "I just read the script about an hour ago and I started crying reading the first page. It was just so strange to see the names on the page. It had nothing to do with the script itself. It was just like, I’d been talking about this for a long time. We’d been planning it for a long time. It took a long time to get all the people in the same place and get the deal with Fox. So, let’s say two years we’ve been talking about doing it. Now it’s the fun part. Now we actually get to do it. That was nice and strangely emotional for me, and I’ll have to figure out how to use that in the performance.”
azealia banks to star in lionsgate's 'Coco'
Provocative hip-hop artist Azealia Banks will star in Lionsgate's upcoming drama 'Coco' which will be directed by RZA. In the Brooklyn-set drama, Banks plays an aspiring twenty-something rapper who wants a career in hip-hop but is torn by her parents’ dreams that she finish college. She gives in. While matriculating, she finds herself in the classroom; she experiences the true calling of the power of the spoken word, which helps her goals as a hip-hop artist.

'true detective' director leaves stephen king's 'it'
'True Detective' director Cary Fukunaga has left Stephen King's 'It' adaptation due to budget cuts. New Line Cinema's two-part adaptation will not move forward as planned this summer and has been pushed indefinitely. Fukunaga repeatedly clashed with the studio and did not want to compromise his artistic vision in the wake of budget cuts that were recently demanded by New Line, who originally green-lit the film at $30 million.
hulk hogan has spoken to sylvester stallone about 'Expendables 4'
Hulk Hogan says he's spoken with Sylvester Stallone about playing villain in 'Expendables 4.' Hogan was speaking with fans at the Body Power Expo in England, where he said, "We’re trying to figure out a way to maybe turn me into the most evil man in the world. Y’know, Stallone gave me my first break and he’s been a great friend. We had a great conversation, talking about the possibilities. Can I still run, can I still jump? Well, not as fast or not as high, but I think Hollywood could find a good stunt man to help me out."

'Everybody Hates Chris' star Tyler James Williams says he'd "absolutely love" to play the Miles Morales iteration of Spider-Man. “I’m open to the idea, I am,” he said in a recent interview. “I’m not like starting campaigns or anything for it because I trust Marvel. I’ve read for them before. I trust what their decisions will be. But yeah, I would love to do it. I would absolutely love to do it.”

robert rodriguez will direct 'jonny quest' for warner bros.
'Sin City' helmer Robert Rodriguez is set to direct Warner Bros' 'Jonny Quest' live-action film. Rodriguez and Pirates of the Caribbean screenwriter Terry Rossio will both write the screenplay. The long-awaited franchise once had Zac Efron attached to play the title role, with Dwayne Johnson playing Race Bannon, Jonny's bodyguard. No actors have signed onto the project yet, with the hope this new version will finally make it to theatres with Rodriguez at the helm.
hbo developing 'unarmed' tv series
HBO are currently developing 'Unarmed,' a hospital TV series from Eric Roth and Denis Johnson set at an armed forces medical centre. Warner Bros. TV and Timberman/Beverly are producing the project, which is looking for a director in anticipation of a pilot order. Unarmed focuses on Amos Searl, a civilian psychiatrist new to his practice at an Armed Forces medical centre that specialises in treating amputees and burn victims, critically wounded veterans just returned from America’s recent wars. A double amputee from life’s wars himself, Searl — a man who has always questioned authority — tries to make sense and give meaning to our soldiers, the young men and women who are trying, like him, to find their way home.
Vincent D'Onofrio joins 'CHiPS' cast as villain
'Daredevil' bad guy Vincent D'Onofrio joins 'CHiPS' cast as villain. Will star alongside Michael Peña. Dax Shepard and Pena will play the roles of the motorcycling police officers and best friends, Jon Baker and Frank Poncherello, with Shepard also serving as director and screenplay co-writer. D’Onofrio will play the auto-stealing ringleader, a ruthless former cop.
Vincent Cassel keen on making 'La Haine' sequel
Actor Vincent Cassel keen on making 'La Haine' sequel, saying it could be "the next great movie of Mathieu Kassovitz.” Cassel spoke to The Guardian recently, saying, “When Mathieu decided to do La Haine, it was because he was shocked by the assassination of a kid in a police station. Suddenly, he felt like he had something to say about it," Cassel told the paper. "Maybe with everything that has happened lately, that might happen to him again."
chris pine in talks for role in 'wonder woman'
Chris Pine is in talks with Warner Bros. for the role of love interest Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman. If the rumour proves to be true, Pine would play Gal Gadot’s love interest in the origin story. Patty Jenkins, who recently replaced Michelle MacLaren, is directing from a script by Jason Fuchs. Wonder Woman is set for release in 2017.
