Richard Linklater Frontrunner to Direct Jennifer Lawrence in 'The Rosie Project'
Last week we reported that Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence had signed up to be lead in upcoming drama 'The Rosie Project' for Sony Pictures. The movie is an adaptation of the Graeme Simison novel of the same.
The film may of now found its director in Oscar-nominated Boyhood-helmer Richard Linklater, although he hasn't signed up just yet but is reportedly keen on the material. Originally Sony wanted Lego Movie filmmakers Phil Lord and Chris Miller, with the two pretty close to agreeing terms. However, they both decided to exit the project and head off to direct the Han Solo spin-off Star Wars movie.
