Speed Drawing: 12 Years A Slave
To celebrate the 2014 Academy Awards season (with help from Movieclips) SpeedDrawManiac has been creating unique, one-off movie posters inspired by the Best Picture nominees.
Here's what the self proclaimed "speed-drawing-maniac" had to say about this piece:
"12 Years A Slave is a hard movie to do a poster for, for a couple of reasons. First off so much of the material that has been released around the movie has been so perfectly suited to it that there's really no room to improve. Second is that it's a hard movie to not be to saccharine about, which is what we were worried would happen in a fan poster, but we think it came out OK."
