Studio Ghibli's Hayao Miyazaki Creating Another Film After All, in 3D
Once stating 'Princess Mononoke' would be his last film, and announcing his retirement after 'The Wind Rises' in 2013, Variety reports Hayao Miyazaki is making another film.
This won't be a feature film however, but a short film for the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Tokyo.
Remarkable is that this short, featuring a hairy caterpillar, will be his first CG animated 3D film.
Don't get your hopes up on seeing it anytime soon though. The film will reportedly take 3 years to complete and will possibly only be shown inside the Ghibli Museum.
