Tom Hiddleston interviewed about Thor.
Tom Hiddleston: I had such a physhical transformation in a way. I was born with a shock of Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka, curly hair. So I had to dye my hair black and straighten it and then putting the costume on you feel bigger and you stand taller. But the emotional complexity it really is, it sounds pretentious to say it, but it's about the extension of compassion. And like any part I just had to think: what would it be like to be someone who's whole life had been a lie. Who's father possesses a number of very, very dark secrets about your history. And if then you find those things out. And the revelations that are made to Loki. I don't want to spoil it for the people but there are such huge secret that come out of the woodwork in this film. And that's what fueled the fire in a way. I just had to put myself there. It's just an act of imagination ultimately.
