Daniel Craig set to return for BOND 25

GregHarmon GregHarmon Managing Editor According to the Mirror, Bond producer Barbara Broccoli has reportedly reached a deal for the 49-year-old actor to return for his fifth 007 movie, alongside singer Adele

After months of speculation Bond producer, Barbara Broccoli has managed to prevent star Daniel Craig from breaking glass and slashing his wrists in exchange for a deal that he couldn't pass up.

'It’s taken time but Daniel has come round and the strong consensus in the Bond offices is that Mr. Craig is 007 again.' according to Broccoli.

But back in 2015 Craig told Time Out that in addition to slashing his wrists "If I did another Bond movie, it would only be for the money." Craig was reportedly paid $17 million US (£15 million) - $44 million including endorsements, for 2015's Spectre, which grossed $880 million worldwide just under $200 million shy of Skyfall's $1 billion box office gross. Although rumors of a $150 million payday have since been debunked, it's not out of the question for Craig to receive a payday similar to Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's.

Craig's original contract included four installments and it's yet to be confirmed if Craig's latest deal will involve two films as previously reported. An insider for the Mirror confirmed Daniel Craig's wife Rachel Weisz has approved of the project, and is willing for him to spend another year away to film.

When asked about the status of Grammy awarding winning Adele, Broccoli said she is 'determined' to sign Adele up to record the new theme tune, following the success of Skyfall - which became the first Bond song to win at the Grammys, BRITs and Oscars - check out the opening sequence below!

After months of speculation as to who will be the next Bond - fans hoping to see Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, Michael Fassbender or James Norton can now turn their attention to who will direct Bond 25. My desire to see Dan Stevens as agent 007 will have to wait until Bond 26. But let it be known, I have zero issue with Craig returning. How about you?
