"Fast 8" Heading to Iceland
The globetrotting franchise will partially film in the town of Akranes (West Iceland).
Fast 8 is set to shoot the biggest movie explosion to ever take place in Iceland. While it is believed that most of the movie takes place in New York, director F. Gary Gray and producers have also looked into filming in Cuba. As Fast 8 continues pre-production, no story details have leaked but it certainly appears that Fast 8 will try to outperform the previous films big action and set pieces. Fast 8 races into theaters on April 14, 2017.
