First Look Photos from Blumhouse’s ‘Halloween’ sequel

GregHarmon GregHarmon Managing Editor At this point in the game I shouldn’t have to remind you that we are merely three days away from witnessing Laurie Strode (Jaime Les Curtis) once again come face-to-face with the 'The Shape' (Nick Castle)!

Until then, I am pleased to share three exclusive and extremely terrifying new images from Blumhouse’s ‘HALLOWEEN’!

USA Today released a trio of terrifying pics ahead of Friday’s trailer, showcasing the return of Michael Meyers as ‘The Shape’ and Jamie Lee Curtis in her iconic role as Laurie Strode!

The official sequel to Carpenter’s 1978 sacred cow is directed by David Gordon Green, who co-wrote the film with Danny McBride and Jeff Fradley. The original scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode who, after 40 years, welcomes two generations of Strode’s into Blumhouse’s sequel with Laurie’s onscreen daughter played by Judy Greer and granddaughter played by Andi Matichak.

The cast also includes Virginia Gardner (Marvel’s Runaways) as Vicky, Miles Robbins - Susan Sarandon/Tim Robbin's off spring (My Friend Dahmer) as Dave, and Drew Scheid ("sweaty teen boy" from Stranger Things S2) as Oscar, Dylan Arnold (Mudbound) as Cameron, along with Will Patton (Megan Leavey) as Hawkins and Omar J. Dorsey (Selma) as Sheriff Barker.

Safe to say these pics will tide us over until Friday’s trailer. You can practically feel the synth pulse from Carpenter’s iconic score striking every nerve.

Halloween is set for release October 19.
