Gal Gadot to star 20th Century Fox 'Death on the Nile'

Deadline confirms the 33-year old actress will star in Kenneth Branagh’s adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile.
Sources say, Gadot will play Linnet Ridgeway Doyle, a rich heiress who ends up marrying the finance of her best friend Jackie de Bellefort and later ends up (SPOILER) - murdered - while honeymooning in Egypt. Sources have not confirmed if Branagh will reprise Belgian’s master detective, Hercule Poirot in the mystery to solve Doyle’s murder.
Murder on the Orient Express and Logan scribe, Michael Green will write the screenplay with Kenneth Branagh returning to the director’s chair.
Fox has already greenlit Death on the Nile for a December 20, 2019 release, shortly after Wonder Woman 1984 and before her action thriller Red Notice co-starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
