Tacos for all!! with the departure of Time Miller, us Deadpool fans wonder if the sequel would still have the same raunchy, A.D.D fun filled family type movie that the original had. Well now that answer has been given to us by the good people of the internet! John Wick's director David Leitch has signed on to direct the most anticipated sequel in the history of Marvel! Or just the die hard Deadpool fans. (Point at myself) now the studio is looking for another filmmaker for the third film in this franchise. Will David win the hearts of the studio and be signed on for the third movie as well?? Find out on next weeks episode where I ask the age old question...does Wade Wilson actually shop at Ikea.

Deadpool 2?

Deadpool 2?

Unless you have been living under a rock or just don't like watching good old fashion bang bang movies, then chances are you missed one of the most amazing comic book movies Deadpool. With an inevitable sequel that is slated for a January 2018 release, there is no stopping this foul mouthed taco loving assassin! That is..until the news that broke out a few days ago. It would appear that director Tim Miller, has left the sequel due to creative differences with star Ryan Reynolds. Miller never truly signed on to directed the film, but has been helping in the scripts development stages. No names yet as to Millers replacement but the studio does potentially want Miller to direct one of their future projects an adaptation of the David Suarez novel Influx. Who do you think would be the best replacement for Miller? and do you think that Deadpool 2 is in danger of not having the same magic as the first film?

6. Deadpool

6. Deadpool

‘Deadpool’ is open for anyone to come and enjoy. It requires little to no outside knowledge of the X-Men franchise, though it may entice you to watch those if you haven't. The only misfortune that comes from seeing this film is knowing that you won't find any other superhero film like it to fill the void. You'll have to buy another ticket in order to feel that same, R-rated escapism. ‘Deadpool’ is truly a gift to the superhero era we live in, a film that recognises its genre and blasts it, but also has a blast living in it too.

'Deadpool' Producer on why the Film Worked

Deadpool's success is undisputable. It went through the wringer to make it to the big screen, and was so seamless in its quality and confidence, and seemed so simple up on the big screen. When asked by THR what set the film apart, producer Simon Kinberg elaborated on what's probably already been said.

My Review of Deadpool

Deadpool is Directed by Tim Miller and stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin andEd Skrein. The film follows Wade Wilson, Ryan Reynolds, an ex-military man who meets Vanessa, Morena Baccarin, and falls in love. Then one day Wade finds out that he has late stage cancer in basically all of his major organs. He then meets a man, who he hilariously addresses as Agent Smith, he claims that he can cure his cancer and make him a ‘superhero’. Finally, Wade agrees to go through this program so he can still be with Vanessa. This program puts him through horrific torture which shouldu awaken hidden mutant genes in him. These genes give Wade the ability to heal and it cures his cancer but there are side effects which makes him not very attractive anymore (and that’s an understatement). He then endeavours to hunt down the man who did this to him, Ajax, (Ed Skrein) and make him look normal again so he can go back to his Vanessa.

I Have Come To Clean Ze Deadpool

Comic book films are action-packed epics, but just so lighthearted the whole family can enjoy them, right? — Nope. Times are changing and those little superhero film fans are growing up. Their parents, who lack comprehension of the film rating system, haven’t adapted, but this is due to maintaining a convenient ignorance to the content of the comics upon which these films are based. They’ve been orienteering progressively to people of all ages for several generations, but hey, everybody’s got to have a vendetta…

Deadpool Doubles Projections for $150 Million Box Office Taking, Top-Grossing Film of 2016 (So Far)

Deadpool took $150 million in its first four-day holiday weekend domestically, already elevated to the top-grossing film of 2016 so far. — It laughed its way past Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Zoolander 2, after a drought that came over in the aftermath of Star Wars: The Force Awakens taking the world by its throat. Deadpool's originality and unique appearance is exactly what the cinema needed to spark some life into its audience, because we're never permanently satisfied.

Deadpool (2016) Film Review

The latest in a bloated list of superhero films can proudly stand as one of the best, though I'm not sure that the character of Wade Wilson would care in any way about the accolades. In fact, he'd probably despise (and then defile) the award. Deadpool is a hilarious examination of the superhero craze at a time when it's most needed, and brings the fun right back to the fight.

Deadpool Takes Home $12 Million on Day One Internationally

Deadpool opened in seven international markets yesterday to gain a return of $12 million instantly. — The film's famous marketing approach seems to be paying off, a marketing plan that was inclusive of various cultures (the Australia Day riff) as well as being used to show audiences exactly what to expect from this film (from the gore to the language to the fourth wall-breaking antics of the titular character).

Deadpool (2016) - Review

See a Love Story That's A Little Different This Valentines Day. — In 2005 Universal Pictures gave Joss Whedon the none too slight sum of $40,000,000 to make a film based on his own failed TV Series that ran for only 14 episodes between 2002 and 2003 before being scrapped. That show was called Firefly and had a small but incredibly loyal fanbase and the subsequent film was Serenity. It barely broke even but was critically very well received and fans loved it. It was a film that should never have been made. The TV series failed commercially and making a film based on it was surely never financially viable but the Movie Gods were looking down on fans of Firefly and they gave them a film that more than did justice to their beloved show and tied up threads from the series nicely following its abrupt cancellation. Still to this day I'm stunned that it got made but as a fan of the show I'm glad it exists.

Finally, the wish has come true and will arrive in theatres Februay 12. — With projections suggesting that Deadpool looks destined to be a massive success, Reynolds' next priority isn't quite so out there. The actor was not phased by the limited ownership Fox has over Marvel properties, stating:

Ryan Reynolds Reveals How Long He Wants to Play Deadpool

Ryan Reynolds has not been quiet about his love and passion for the role of Deadpool, and that unsurprisingly hasn't diminished in the slightest. — Reynolds was questioned on whether he would have any interest in reprising his role in the 2020 confirmed Green Lantern movie, and Reynolds gave the sci-fi franchise the cold shoulder, essentially.

Colossus To Stay In Metal Form For The Entirety Of "Deadpool"

When asked if Colossus's motion capture presented any challenges, Greg Lasalle (Colossus's facial performer) revealed that Colossus will be in his metal form for the duration of the movie. Lasalle stated, "Well actually, this film he's only in his metal form. I don't know if you knew that. So you won't see a human form of Colossus in Deadpool, only the CG version. So, that actually keeps it simpler for performing."
